Indie Fashion Scout

This is my first post in a series where I will gab about indie designers out there in the web-o-world that get me all giddy and excited. PINaR ERIS is up first.....I found them on indie shopping site Smashing Darling. PINaR ERIS totally scores major points in my book for including lots of girly ruffles & pink madness in their designs and I also have to give them a super high five for the polka dot factor. I love the theatrical styling of their photo shoots too. Check out that cloud hanging from the ceiling. I love that! It reminds me of this awesome backdrop that I found the other day with blue sky and clouds....it totally has photo shoot written all over it. Anyway, in addition to their avant garde clothing designs they also have lots of fun colorful accessories like crazy retro-esque hats with feathers & tulle and a pink ruffle choker that makes me think of Marie Antoinette. Some of their elements go a little too goth for me, but I'm still totally diggin' their asthetic and expressive attitude.
