Stitch Wrap Up, Part 1 & an awesome CONTEST

OMG, I can't believe we made it through year 5! It was an amazing party / blast / success. As always, the post-event pictures and emails are rolling in and Man are they good this year!


First, I'd like to announce an awesome contest that our friend Jessica is hosting on Funky Finds: leave a comment on her blog proudly proclaiming your favorite stitch vendor and win a free Stitch Swag Bag. I could never pick a favorite, you have a tough job ahead of you!

Some of the highlights of my night:
+seeing Swear Jar Designs win $1000 from Carlo Rossi for his AMAZING belt buckle design
+Hooking Chia and the House of Dang up with the Stitch Grant
+Giving away $5000 worth of Babylock sewing machines (I actually met one of the winners the next day at a shoe store!)
+Seeing Rebecca Yaker's entire sock monkey collection on the runway
+Meeting Bradley Baumkirchner, I found out that Project Runway did not make him awesome, he's pretty freakin great on his own
+and, of course, the afterparty with DJ Orion and Abominatron. It was the best dance party of my life. Check out all the great pictures that are starting to roll in below:
